Ryan Takayama Becomes Indoorsman’s First Back-to-Back Champion
History was made at Indoorsman Golf Club.
For the first time since launching our Indoorsman of the Month series, we have a repeat champion.
After winning May’s tournament at Aronimink Golf Club, Ryan Takayama successfully defended his title by capturing the June championship at Muirfield Village, becoming the first back-to-back Indoorsman of the Month.
🏆 A Championship Performance
June’s tournament featured our now-familiar two-round PGA Tour-style format, with qualifying scores carrying over into the live championship.
Ryan entered the final round with the lead after shooting 77 (+5) during qualifying and never looked back. A solid 78 (+6) in the championship round gave him a two-round total of 155 (+11) and a comfortable victory.
Final Standings
🥇 Ryan Takayama — 155 (+11)
🥈 Nic Murk — 159 (+15)
🥉 Joe Reel — 172 (+28)
Ryan’s consistent play over both rounds proved to be the difference, earning him another spot on the Indoorsman Wall of Fame.

Building a Tradition
Each month, the Indoorsman of the Month series continues to grow.
What started as a friendly competition has become one of the highlights of club life—bringing members together for live championship nights, memorable shots, and a little healthy rivalry.
With Ryan becoming our first repeat champion, the bar has officially been raised.
Can anyone stop his run?
⛳ Looking Ahead: July at Royal Birkdale
Next month, the competition heads across the Atlantic to Royal Birkdale, one of England’s most celebrated links courses and a frequent host of The Open Championship.
Known for its rolling dunes, strategic bunkering, and championship pedigree, Royal Birkdale will present a completely different challenge from Muirfield Village.
A new course. New conditions. Another name waiting to be added to the Wall of Fame.
We’ll see you in the bays.
