Faster Rounds Are Here: Indoorsman Trackman Simulators Upgraded with TPS 10.3

Indoorsman Trackman Simulators Now Upgraded with TPS 10.3

Great news for Indoorsman members: our Trackman simulators have been upgraded with TPS 10.3, the latest Trackman Performance Studio software update.

The biggest win for our members? Faster, smoother Virtual Golf 3 rounds.

If you have played a full simulator round before, you know that pace matters. The less time you spend tapping through menus, waiting for information to load, or sorting out drop options, the more time you get to spend actually playing golf. TPS 10.3 is designed to keep the round moving and make the in-bay experience feel more natural from shot to shot.

Less Waiting. More Golf.

With the new Virtual Golf 3 interface updates, key information now appears sooner during your round. As soon as your ball comes to rest, you can see your lie and distance to the pin right away.

That means fewer delays between shots and less time spent checking the screen before deciding what club to hit next. Whether you are in the fairway, rough, bunker, or around the green, the information you need is easier to access at the moment you need it.

For Indoorsman members, this should make casual rounds, practice rounds, and group play all feel more efficient.

Smarter Drop Options When Things Go Sideways

We have all been there: a shot finds trouble, and the pace of the round slows down while everyone figures out the next step.

TPS 10.3 improves the drop flow in Virtual Golf 3, making it easier to understand your available options and move forward. New on-course decision tools, including options like dropping in the fairway, help reduce confusion and keep play moving when a hole does not go exactly as planned.

The goal is simple: less menu navigation, fewer interruptions, and a smoother path back to the next shot.

In-Bay Extensions Make It Easier to Finish Your Round

Another helpful improvement is the ability to extend your booking from the bay when time is running short.

Sometimes a round takes longer than expected. Maybe the match is close. Maybe your group is on the final few holes. Maybe you spent a little extra time warming up. With in-bay extensions, it is easier to add time when available so you can finish strong without leaving the simulator to manage your reservation.

A Better Experience for Every Type of Player

These updates are not just for low-handicap golfers or tech-heavy players. They make Virtual Golf 3 easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

Newer players get a more intuitive experience. Regulars get a faster round. Groups get fewer delays. Competitive players get the information they need more quickly. And everyone gets to spend more time focused on the next shot instead of the touchscreen.

Come Try the Updated Trackman Experience

Indoorsman was built to give members convenient access to high-quality indoor golf, and this software upgrade is another step in improving that experience.

The next time you book a bay, jump into a Virtual Golf 3 course and check out the new TPS 10.3 updates for yourself. You should notice a smoother flow, quicker access to important shot information, easier drop decisions, and a better overall pace of play.

Book your next session and come see what’s new.

Ryan Takayama Wins May Indoorsman of the Month at Aronimink

Ryan Takayama Wins May Indoorsman of the Month at Aronimink

The May Indoorsman of the Month Championship at Aronimink Golf Club is officially complete — and after two rounds of PGA-style pressure, we have a new champion.

🏆 May Champion: Ryan Takayama

After narrowly missing April’s championship due to a life-changing reason — his wife going into labor the week of the finals — Ryan Takayama returned in May and finished the job.

Ryan entered championship night at +4 after a strong qualifying round and stayed composed throughout the final round to secure the title and earn his spot on the Indoorsman Wall of Fame.

⛳ A New Two-Round Format

May introduced a new tournament structure for Indoorsman of the Month.

Instead of resetting scores for the finals, qualifying scores carried directly into the championship round — just like a PGA Tour event.

That meant every shot from Round 1 mattered. Heading into championship night, the leaderboard was tight with several players still in contention.

Round 1 Scores

  • Ryan Takayama: +4
  • Shawn Leegwater: +6
  • Chris English: +7

Final Rankings

1. Ryan Takayama
T2. Chris English
T2. Shawn Leegwater
|4. Justin Hertz
5. Jim Crowley
6. Ron Skibinski

Chris English and Shawn Leegwater both made strong pushes throughout the round, but Ryan pulled away over the closing holes to claim the title by a few strokes.

🔥 Championship Night Atmosphere

A few qualifiers were unable to attend the finals, so we made a last-minute adjustment and folded Redemption Round competitors directly into the championship field.

The result was one of our best tournament nights yet:

  • Live leaderboard swings
  • Pressure-filled approach shots
  • Tight competition late into the round
  • Members following scores hole-by-hole around the bays

Exactly the kind of atmosphere Indoorsman tournaments were built to create.

⛳Looking Ahead: June at Muirfield Village

The Indoorsman of the Month series rolls on in June as we head to Muirfield Village Golf Club — the legendary Jack Nicklaus-designed course in Dublin, Ohio and longtime home of the PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament.

Known for its demanding approach shots, fast greens, and championship pedigree, Muirfield Village will present a completely different challenge from Aronimink.

The competition keeps getting tougher every month.

Who’s taking the next spot on the Wall of Fame?

We’ll see you in the bays.

  • Shawn Leegwater
  • Chris English
  • Christian Heinbaugh

🔥 Championship Night Details

📅 Thursday, May 21
⏰ Doors Open: 5:00 PM
🏌️ Championship Begins: 5:30 PM
📍 Indoorsman Golf Club

Unlike previous tournaments, qualifying scores will carry directly into the live final round. Players won’t be starting from scratch — every birdie, bogey, and clutch putt from Round 1 still counts.

That means the leaderboard remains incredibly tight heading into the championship.

⛳ Aronimink Delivered

The qualifying round brought exactly the kind of drama we hoped for:

  • Just a few strokes separated the leaders
  • Momentum swings happened throughout the round
  • Several players held strong through Aronimink’s difficult closing stretch

With scores carrying over, there’s still plenty of golf left to play — and no room for mistakes.

Now it all comes down to one final night.

Nic Murk wins April Indoorsman of the Month

Nic Murk Wins the April Indoorsman of the Month

The April Indoorsman of the Month playoff at Pebble Beach delivered one of the most exciting finishes we’ve seen yet — and a champion nobody will forget.

🏆 Champion: Nic Murk

Entering the playoff as the 8th seed, Nic Murk put together a remarkable run, advancing through the wildcard round and continuing his momentum all the way to the championship.

By the end of the night, Nic had climbed from last in the Elite 8 to the top of the leaderboard — earning the title of April Indoorsman of the Month and his place on the Wall of Fame.

🔥 A Playoff Full of Twists

The night didn’t follow a typical script.

  • Christian Heinbaugh, Nic Murk, and Chris Jinks advanced out of the opening round
  • Joe Reel waited in the championship after earning his spot
  • Ryan Takayama, the top qualifier, was unable to compete after earning a bye (for a great reason — congratulations to Ryan and his family!)
  • With the format shifting, the championship became a 9-hole showdown, raising the stakes on every single shot

With less room for error and more pressure per hole, the championship demanded precision — and Nic delivered when it mattered most.

Nic’s win is a perfect example of what makes the Indoorsman format so compelling. Once you reach the playoff, anything can happen. Momentum matters. Pressure matters. And no lead is safe.

🎯 Notable Performances

Several players stood out throughout the tournament:

  • Qualifier Winner: Ryan Takayama
  • Best Net Score: Ryan Takayama
  • Closest to the Pin: Ron Skibinski
  • Longest Drive: Christian Heinbaugh

The combination of gross scoring, net competition, and skills challenges continues to make each tournament competitive across the board.

⛳ What’s Next: May at Aronimink

The Indoorsman of the Month series rolls on.

In May, we head to Aronimink Golf Club, a championship-caliber course and former PGA Championship venue that will present a completely different test.

If April proved anything, it’s that every round — and every shot — counts.

The Wall of Fame has a new name.

Who’s next?

We’ll see you in the bays.
